Thank you for the write up. That’s a awesome list! After being frustrated and tired visiting the crowded and noisy restaurants in Bangalore these are the places one would love to go as short weekend getaway. Nam oora sutta mutta ishtu volle thindi skiddre sakagide iga 🙂

      Thank you 🙂

  4. orangewayfarer Avatar

I echo the above mentioned statement. I was frustrated with the limited choice of continental breakfast that these eateries serve.

I had the good fortune of studying in Bangalore with localites and they used to bring Neer Dhosaai from home. Loved them. Add Lemon rice to that with a dash of lime. heaven in mouth.

This post reminds me of the breakfast drives I used to take in Delhi for Paratha with white homemade ghee. 🙂

also, wanted to know…i am desperate to find this hotel I saw in one of the traveler series in DD chandana. The rider(woman) goes to this hotel early in the morning, which is quite old (40 yrs!) and tries idli/ chitranna. Seems the hotel is same as what it was 40 yrs ago. Many VIPs visit this. Any idea which is this? This too is outside bluru, on some highway…Bluru-Hoskote highway??
