Never ever did I imagine that the best sourdough pizza would bake out of a Vietnam-based Japanese-Italian restaurant located in Namma Bengaluru – food globalisation at its best.

Known for their sourdough pizzas with gourmet toppings and the week-long waiting periods (during the initial launch), Pizza 4P’s in Indiranagar is a Vietnam-based pizza chain that serves Japanese-Italian sourdough pizza, cheese platters, pastas, desserts, and beverages (including wine).

And yes, the dining experience and the food – are worth the hype, worth the effort to secure a reservation.💯

Spread across three floors of seating and the Cheese Lab on the second floor where you can see them make fresh cheese such as mozzarella, burrata, ricotta, cream cheese, and camembert. The restaurant has an beautiful industrial aesthetic touch to it but with traditional Indian elements like red oxide walls and granite counters. 

Complementing this minimal ambiance are the warm, welcoming staff who will assist you in finding the reserved table and ordering the food.

There’s wine and flavoured non-alcoholic beer on the menu, should you be interested. 

For the rest, there are 4P’s Original Soda Drinks, kombucha, shakes, Araku Blend Coffee, fresh juices, herbal teas and the likes.

We ordered the Matcha Green Tea Shake and Mango Vinegar Soda which was outstanding.

Appetizers:

• Chilli Beans Pizza Nachos with Camembert Sauce: very tasty.
• Peri Peri Potato Wedges: the most flavourful peri peri wedges ever!
• 4P’s Burrata Tropical Fruit Salad – Veg: fresh cheesy burrata with assorted fruits and a fennel dressing. It’s sweet, bold, salty, cheesy, rich, yet somehow light. The best gourmet fruit salad ever!🤤

Pizza:

On the sourdough pizza front, they do half-and-half pizza and so we’ve tried:

We couldn’t try the Eggplant Margherita and Premium Mushroom Pizza, but we are going back for more because we now love Japanese-Italian pizzas. 

Pasta:

Basil Pesto Spaghetti Pasta – Veg: Herby, sharp, and nutty. Plus, they cook spaghetti al dente which I love.

Desserts:

We tried the Fondant Chocolate Cake with Home-made Vanilla Ice cream and House-made Matcha Ice cream – both of them were average, but not exceptional like their pizzas and salads.

Useful Information:

• Ambiance:
  • Indoor AC dining on 1st and 2nd floors with proper seating and high-chair seating by the Pizza Ovens + Rooftop dining on the 3rd floor.
  • Avoid sitting at long table by the oven, it gets really hot inspite of the AC.
  • All the floors are accessible by indoor staircase and elevator. 
  • Best for date-nights, family, friends, kids & group-friendly
  • Pet-friendly: No
• Service: the entire staff is extremely polite, will help you choose/describe the food and happy to serve.
• Alcohol: They serve wines and champagne only. No Beer and mocktails.
• Dine-in Reservation: Required on weekends, weekdays during lunch, dinner times and for large groups.
• Best way to find a table at Pizza 4P’s Indiranagar:
  • For a group of 3 and above, I recommend opting for a reservation since they get a lot of customers and walk-ins mostly mean waiting.
  • If you are looking for weekends, I highly recommend a reservation at least a week and a half in advance, especially for late lunch and dinner.
