The wafting aroma of masala gravy and green peas being boiled along with the clinking of the nostalgic porcelain plates drew my attention while walking – only to realise that this is the same place we used to cycle back after school to eat chaats. 😲😊
Over the last 2 decades, what has changed is the location of the chaat shop from a by-lane onto the main road – same owner, same taste and a DejaVu feeling of being the schoolboy juggling his beloved Hero Ranger bicycle with a plate of hot Masala Puri 😊
Started in 1995 by Mr.Ramesh (he still owns, runs the shop), Ruchi Karnataka Bhel House on 50 feet road Hanumanthanagar serves delicious fare of masala puri, bhel puri, pani puri, aloo puri, dahi bhelpuri and more at humble prices.
