Your search for scrumptious and soulful Italian food in Bengaluru ends here.
Since 6 years, Bologna Italian Restaurant on 100-feet road Indiranagar has been serving bonafide, eloquent and unassumingly delicious fare of appetizers, pastas, pizzas, salads, cheeses and desserts paired with the best range of wines. 🤤
Don’t get deceived by the understated ambiance, as the flavourful food starts with the complementary bread basket and runs through the appetizers, main course of your meal and into the desserts – wrapped around extremely good service by the entire staff of the restaurant.
What makes Bologna special is also that all their pastas are made in house; they even make their own mascarpone, and fresh ricotta ❤️ – supplemented by a good collection of red, white, rose and sparkling wines.

Must Try:
Complementary bread basket with basil-pesto spread: served free and unlimited with all the orders – absolutely fresh and tasty 😋
Insalata di Bologna (Veg) : Salad of mix grilled vegetables marinated with basil pesto Parmesan cheese with fresh mozzarella dressed with balsamic vinegar – mind bogglingly delicious salad 🤤
Zuppa di broccoli con panna: cream of broccoli soup with Italian herbs and Parmesan cheese

Appetizers:
Fungi Aglio Olio (starter): button mushroom toasted with garlic, olive oil and spicy pepperonchino chilly – too damn delicious 🥰
Garlic Bread: this is the tastiest garlic bread in our city 😋
Since this was so good, we decided to full throttle and ordered:
- Formaggi Misti Di Italia: platter of imported cheese
- Piatto Di Verdure: platter of assorted veg starters
- Piatto Di Carne Pesce: platter of assorted fish, prawns, squids and chicken starters
I am not a fan of uncooked cheese, so the cheese platter was a bouncer. Whereas the veg and non-veg platters were very delicious.

Pizza:
Pizza Margarita: this 12-inch pizza is the best Italian pizza I have tasted in Bengaluru, just brilliant 😍
Pasta:
- Spaghetti Bolognese pollo (chicken)
- Ravioli Di Spinach Ricotta (pink sauce based)
- Pollo Al Limone
- Penne Al Pesto
- Fettuccine Al Arrabiata
Amongst all of them – the Ravioli was the best, worthy of a second order.
Drink:
We shuffled mainly between cold coffee and lime soda – the lime sodas are a cut above the cold coffee.

Desserts:
- Tiramisu
- Torta Di Riccota D Italia
- Mousse Al Chocolate E Nocciole
Among them, the chocolate mousse (Mousse Al Chocolate E Nocciole) is masterclass – dark, delicious and very rich ❤️
