Located in the buzzing neighbourhood of Kalyan Nagar in North Bengaluru, Venn by Spiga & Grounded cafe combines modern design sensibilities with great coffee and supremely delicious desserts.

Launched in 2025, Venn by Spiga & Grounded in Kalyan Nagar is their first café in Bengaluru – a harmonious intersection of Spiga, known for delicious food, and Grounded, known for specialty coffee and desserts.

Café Ambiance: Designed for Slow Conversations:

Great for a casual coffee catch-up, a quiet work session, or a relaxed date night, the interiors of the cafe sport a warm, minimal aesthetic – soft lighting, clean furniture lines, and cozy seating arrangements that make the café feel inviting without trying too hard.

The Food: Delicious and Comforting:

Offers a delicious menu of Italian Mexican, Mediterranean classics, all-day breakfast with specialty coffee and desserts.

If you’re a meat lover, this place will feel like a second home. From steaks and burgers to sandwiches and pastas, almost every dish comes generously loaded with chicken, lamb, or beef.

Vegetarian options are relatively limited, but the flavours more than make up for the smaller selection.

We tried and loved these.

Coffees & Beverages:

• Iced Vietnamese Latte: the perfect coffee for the summer – cold and delicious🤤
• Salted Caramel Iced Mocha: love it!
• Mango Jalapeno Lemonade: A zesty blend of sweet mango, fresh lime and jalapeños – the right kind of firepower 🔥🤤
• Cortado: and lot of other options.

Small Plates:

• Bangkok Burnt Honey Chicken: juicy grilled chicken glazed in sweet honey and spices – super flavourful !

Main Course:

• Birria Tacos – beans & cheese: The only veg option here, but loved these crisp tacos – balanced flavours and delicious
• The Big Mad Burger: A massive beef burger that was consumed very quickly, so I am guessing it was good!

Desserts:

This is their showstopper – so if you have a limited appetite – order their coffee and dive straight into desserts, which are supremely delicious.

• Shibuya Honey Toast: If you love bread and ice cream, this is your soul-mate, I would come back infinite times only to eat this one ❤️

A golden, buttery brick of toasted Shokupan bread, crispy on the outside, soft inside, drenched in honey and topped with your choice of ice cream. 🤤

• Tiramisu Alla Casa: the best Tiramisu in North Bengaluru – indulgent and tasty!

What we couldn’t try were –  All day breakfast items, pastas and sandwiches 🙁

Venn by Spiga & Grounded in Kalyan Nagar is one of those cosy spots where the coffee and desserts quietly steal the spotlight from the mains – and honestly, that’s exactly why I’d keep coming back, again and again.
