Located at the bypass junction in Palarivattom, Kochi – this cafe is the Kochi outlet of the international brand ‘Honey Special Cake’ which started in 2016 in Abu Dhabi.

While the buzz is all about their cakes and pastries – which is ‘ok’, ‘not worth the hype’ – the real good foods were pastas, steaks, coffee and other beverages.

Must Eat:

• Guava Chilli Mojito
• Caribbean Chicken Steak
• Veg Lasagna
• Veg penne ducal white sauce

All of them were super delicious and I would go back again for the Caribbean chicken steak 🤤 – which was the showstopper!

Honey Special Cake: turns out be not special – an absolute disappointment 😞

Tasted very synthetic/machine-made like the complimentary aircraft dessert – lacked the warm and didn’t evoke any happiness of tasting a freshly-made cake!

  • One of the few cafes in Kochi that serve coffee and cakes till 2 am in the morning!
  • The full food menu (such as pastas, burgers and other main-course) kicks in from 2 pm till 10 pm

• To the pure-vegetarians: they cook and serve beef dishes at this cafe – as with most restaurants and cafes in Kerala.
