Suprabhata Coffee Kendra – VV Puram

I had heard so much about the chutney and the vada this place churns-out that a long pending visit was due.

Nestled in VV Puram, a place famous for its ‘Food Street ‘ in southernBangalore – Suprabhata Coffee Kendra which translates to Sunrise Coffee Center is an apt name for this south Indian breakfast joint which has been serving up delicious idlis and crispy vadas for the past 40 years.

Add the lip smacking, unlimited coconut chutney which accompanies these delights, washed down with filter coffee and you are set for the ideal South Indian breakfast 🙂

But the showstopper apart from the chutney was the Khara bath, which is an absolute must 🙂

Showstopper – Must Have Khara Bath

The filter coffee was a huge disappointment 🙁  if you love your early morning brew, filter kaapi at Suprabhata Coffee Kendra is a MUST AVOID.

I specifically love their coffee, and think it’s the best filter coffee in Bangalore. http://woolee.blogspot.in/2007/11/favorite-hotels-in-south-bangalore.html

Viv – you should try the filter coffee at Brahmin’s Coffee bar and SLV at BSK 2nd stage 🙂 Would love to try the coffee again at Suprabhata though 🙂
